Hello! I’m so happy you’re here. I created this space for you and me to move beyond casual faith and live creatively for Christ.
So many of us coast through life, passive and passionless. But what if we stopped settling for scraps and instead feasted on the abundant life God has planned for us?
Let your pulse be your guide.
You have a beating heart that rises based on your interests, talents, and experiences.
You are here to be light in a dark world — to shine God’s glory, share his love, and make disciples.
Confession: I’ve been hiding, believing lies. Comfort, routine, and fear have kept me from sharing my life, my struggles, and my faith.
Can you relate?
I met Jesus in high school and he changed my heart. But I’m just now learning to let him change my life.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26)
I’m ready to step out and speak up. I can already feel my heartbeat rise. It’s time to come alive.
Will you join me?
Let’s learn to embrace what makes our hearts beat faster and share our stories with the world. Because there’s power in stories, in our testimonies, even when — especially when — it’s scary to share. We were made for community, and we need each other.
So thanks for stopping by my site and joining me on this journey. Continue reading below to learn more about me. I’d love to learn more about you, too! Let’s connect.
More about me
Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, I’m an officer’s wife and rescue dog mom.
I love living an active lifestyle, reading all the books (mostly nonfiction), drinking coconut LaCroix, and eating peanut butter and dark chocolate.
I’m a writer and marketing communications professional with over a decade of experience working in higher education. I earned a bachelor’s in professional writing and a master’s in communication and thought I was done with school. The Lord, however, had other plans. (Good thing I love to learn!)
After feeling restless for many months and praying for direction, I started this blog in May 2018 and began experiencing a series of events that only God could orchestrate.
Long story short, in fall 2018 I embarked on a master’s degree in ministry leadership and followed a call to move in a different (and unexpected) direction: ministry.
God is wild! I’m writing about this new chapter on my blog and in my email newsletter, so be sure to sign up using the form below.
